Department of Skin Tumor and Dermatology is specialized in medical treatment of cancer in particular. There are various types of skin cancer, including melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, extra mammary Paget’s disease, Bowen’s disease, solar keratosis, angiosarcoma, skin appendage carcinoma and the like. As the treatment differs depending on the type, we make accurate diagnosis by skin biopsy, imaging diagnosis and so on, and provide appropriate treatment according to that diagnosis. Since melanoma is so malignant of all tumors and early diagnosis is difficult too, especially specialized diagnosis / treatment are required. In our department, it is possible to perform examination of sentinel lymph node that requires advanced technology (reimbursable), including dermoscopy useful for early diagnosis of it; we provide advanced and specialized medicine for skin cancer, with one of the largest cases nationwide.

And, all the staff members are board certified dermatologist, and medical treatment is also possible for dermatological diseases other than oncological diseases, and in particular, we are too in charge of diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases and skin complications due to various adverse reactions accompanying medical treatment performed at our hospital.
