Department of Cardiology

Medical services and specialties

In the Department of Cardiology, in addition to cardiovascular medicine, as a specialized medical department, we have the divisions of cardiovascular intervention, arrhythmia treatment, cardiac imaging, refractory heart failure treatment, which enable us to perform more advanced medical care. In the division of cardiovascular intervention, in addition to stenting, we also use devices such as a rotablator and the like and simultaneous intravascular ultrasonography and endoscopic examination for treatment. In the division of arrhythmia treatment, we perform a lot of pacemaker implantations, electrophysiological examinations, catheter ablations, treatments using device such as implantable defibrillator for lethal arrhythmia, resynchronization therapies for heart failure. In the Refractory Heart Failure Treatment Center, we provide intensive care of heart failure.

Ischemic cardiac disease (angina, myocardial infarction), arrhythmia, cardiomyopathy, heart failure and cardiovascular diseases including valvular disease, large vascular disease, and peripheral vascular disease
